Delete your Saw it account

This page explains how to delete your Saw it account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to request deletion

1. From the email address you used to sign up, email privacy@sawit.app with the subject “Delete my Saw it account”.
2. So we can verify it's you, send it from your account email address (the one you sign in with, including if you use Google sign-in).
3. We'll confirm by reply and complete the deletion. No further steps are needed from you.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile — username, email address, and (if used) Google profile details
• Every swipe you've made (your likes, maybes, and passes)
• Groups you own, and your membership in any other groups
• Your matches and your watched list
• Your push notification token

What is kept, and for how long

We do not keep any of your personal data after deletion. Your account and its associated data are removed from our live systems within 30 days of your request, and any residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. We retain no personal information beyond that period, and we keep nothing for advertising or marketing.
